WHAT TO EXPECT ~ With flair and enthusiasm, the Caruso family will welcome you at the Hotel Signum proposing a kind of Sicilian hospitality genuine and yet sophisticated. Being composed of several traditional Aeolian houses, Hotel Signum feels like a little village where you will breathe a Mediterranean atmosphere completed by wellness, relaxation, conviviality and taste. “Signum is a project I started with my husband, Michele Caruso, in 1988. What Signum is today was the vision we had when we decided to restore some ruins which became the first guest rooms of our hotel. Since the beginning, we decided to change our lives to dedicate all our hearts to this dream, Signum.” Read the full interview with Clara, owner of the Hotel Signum here. Prices start from 200 euro per night.
FOOD PHILOSOPHY ~ From breakfasts to light lunches and gourmet tastings, every meal in one of the two terraces or in the lush veranda represents a journey to discover Salina, offering you a sensorial experience. Michelin Starred Chef Martina Caruso’s cuisine aims to support local producers and to enhance their products, reinterpreting Aeolian raw materials with innovation and flair.
COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY ~ Hotel Signum makes a daily commitment to protecting the environment and the local habitat. The philosophy at the core of this hospitality project is to protect Salina’s communities and historical traditions. The hotel is nearly 100% plastic-free, and in recent years the property has also invested in renewable energies, as well as electric cars.
