The 19th-century villa at the heart of the property houses the Villa Lena Foundation and the artist-in-residence programme. Surrounding the villa, converted historic former farmhouses, stables and hunting lodges house guest rooms, apartments and shared facilities. Creativity and collaboration underscore life at Villa Lena with a weekly programme of events ranging from artists’ talks to children’s activities, al fresco film screenings to cooking workshops, truffle hunting and candlelit concerts to poolside DJ sets. You can spend your days exploring the woodlands or visiting nearby towns such as Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena or Florence and each evening you will gather with artists in the restaurant for a communal dining experience.
